Hi, I’m Jill Botelho…
…the founder and face of Path Occupational Therapy, a Calgary-based occupational therapy practice focusing on building student capacity, empowering parents, developing school and play skills and fostering a child’s confidence. I am also a determined mom of three passionate young men. Just like you, the laundry piles up, the worries filter in, I make dinner while we study and I have workbooks that have never been used. At the end of the day, I am doing my best to to raise engaged, confident and resourceful kids.

In my many years of working with pre-school and elementary aged students, I always observed the greatest rewards when I worked alongside passionate parents. It is my goal to help you find a playful path for your child’s growth and development.
I completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology at Acadia University and went on to earn a Master of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University. Since 2004, I have worked in the school health field. I love teaching printing in silly ways.
I have a passion for play, movement and hot beverages. The primary occupation of a child is play. I wish, more “big people” remembered that they can have and enjoy an occupation of play. Movement (and coffee) grants me energy and helps me stay connected with the things and people I love most.
Path Occupational Therapy was established in 2020. More than ever I realized we are all walking this path together.
